Sofia Coppola+Louis Vuitton

The Sofia Coppola Louis Vuitton Bag. It's the perfect bag - no loud labels, so understated.

Also available in monogram. Cheaper than the plain one. See how roomy it is.

Maybe I'm just liking this bag because Sofia has it?

The evening bag, also designed by SC.

This SC is also favoured by Garance Dore. More reason for me to get it.

The burgundy leather is stunning.

That's the content of SC's bag :)

The only drawback: the bag costs like US4000. Start saving now, V

Do you know how the new Fuel Subsidy System works?

You don't even know that there is a scheduled price increase? Apparently this will happen on May 1st (on Labour Day, how nice eh?).

Whoever is supposed to inform the public on this, is really doing a lousy PR on it. Or maybe it's their tactic to confuse the public? Tak payah bagitau diorang. Kita hentam saja. Mana boleh bantah? So far, this is what I know, which is very little.
  • Price increase due to adjustment in subsidy.
  • Cars 2000cc above - no more subsidy. I drive a MyVi, so I ok! Issit?
  • Company's cars - no more subsidy.
  • Each motorist only eligible for one subsidy - i.e. if you own like 10 cars, only one car gets subsidize.
  • Motorists must use MyKad to buy petrol.
  • A bank (gee, I wonder WHICH BANK?) has been appointed to manage the operation of the new fuel subsidy scheme, and consumers may have to register through the bank or at the petrol stations using MyKad.
  • Based on what I have read, to buy petrol is like passing through the immigration gate at the airport. Put in your card, scan your thumbprint and pump petrol.
What I do know is that if the monkeys running the show do not give out more information, then we will get this rude awakening on May 1st...

Resurrected

If there's an award for the laziest blog writer, I'd win hands down. Ever since I started working at A four months ago, life has been kinda crazy. My waking hours are spent fussing over Polar Bear, thinking about losing weight (damn you, good cafeteria food!), playing with our godson, Paxton, FBooking, reading The Edge and The Economist (yawn) and checking out Zara every week so I won't miss any new stuff or sales.

Where on earth do I have time to write lah.

Someone told me that "Eh, you hangat-hangat taik ayam one lah, how come long time never write?"

Kena sai.

Fine.

Since I missed out on making new year's resolution, I can still make one for Chinese New Year. That's a bonus being a Chinese :)

So, I try to do one entry per week ok.

Here's wishing you lots of parties, booze and beautiful shoes this Tiger Year. Indirectly, I'm wishing you lots of money cos without it, how to have parties and buy beautiful shoes, and without good health, how to party and drink without killing your liver, darlings?

Live long and prosper!
